Working with us

  • Each couple is different & our approach to planning reflects this. But usually, we’ll have an initial chat over the phone to introduce ourselves & have a good natter about your wedding plans. Some couples we speak to have a really clear idea of what they’d like but if you’re after inspiration, we can put some ideas together for you after this. Once you’ve secured the date with us, we’ll arrange a full consultation closer to your wedding date where we’ll go through all your ideas more thoroughly. This might happen at the venue or over video call, depending on what we think will be most helpful. We ask for everything to be pretty much finalised a month before your big day - this is also when your balance is due.

  • When it comes to picking your flowers, you don’t need to have a list of exactly what flowers you want. In fact, we’d rather you didn’t. We work with the seasons & this means we can never guarantee exactly what flowers will be blooming for your wedding date. Got any favourites or things you really can’t stand? Let us know! But if you have a very, very specific list of flowers you want to use, we probably aren’t the florist for you. Flowers are what we do & having freedom to get creative is when we really shine!

  • We have candlesticks & tealights that we can hire alongside our florals for your tables & ceremony. We also provide all the vases, vessels & plinths etc needed to create your gorgeous designs. If you’re after anything we don’t have, we’ve worked with lots of fabulous stylists & prop hire companies in the past that we can recommend.

  • We know it’s an awkward question, but it really does help. We believe everyone should have beautiful wedding flowers, whatever your budget, but knowing what you have put aside helps us suggest ideas & designs that are suitable. Otherwise, it can be really disheartening if we send you a load of ideas that are just way over what you wanted to spend – & nobody wants to feel like they’re compromising when it’s such a special occasion! Not got a clue? Then our advice is start with your dream flowers for the day & we can provide advice from there.

  • That’s a difficult one to answer – we do gorgeous intimate weddings where just one bouquet & a buttonhole are required, right up to weddings full to the flowery brim with larger installations & beautiful blooms wherever the eye can see. We’ve read you should look to set aside around 10% of your overall wedding budget for your flowers, but we’re not sure we fully agree – flowers feature differently on people’s list of priorities for their day & how much you spend completely depends on you as a couple. In general, for fully serviced weddings our minimum spend is £1500 on weekends in our busiest seasons (March – October). If you’re looking for bouquets, buttonholes & ceremony & table flowers, then you’ll reach that no problem. We’ve popped a few examples of our plans for past weddings on our website to help give you an idea of what you can expect for your budget. But any questions, please just get in touch. We’re often able to do smaller weddings for collection, local delivery or on midweek days too so it’s always worth asking!

  • In short, no. Every single flower a plant produces is unique & fabulous & your wedding flowers should reflect this. We like to get to know our couples, find out more about the things you love & what you have planned for your big day, & then go from there! We work better when our couple’s feel like old friends - you trust us to create something wonderful for you & we feel confident that we know exactly what you’re after & can help bring it to life for you!

  • All you need to focus on is getting ready & having a lovely morning with your bridal party & groomsmen. We’ll deliver your flowers to wherever you’re getting ready & set-up any designs at the venue (or venues if your ceremony is taking place somewhere else.) All delivery & set-up fees will be included in your quote & we can stay on site to move designs if needed. The flowers are yours to take home and enjoy after your wedding, but we’ll arrange to collect any items you’ve hired from us from the venue the next day.

  • We’d love to work with you! We ask for a non-refundable booking fee of £100 to secure the date with us. We’ll send over some more info at this point. Once the booking fee has been paid, we’ll close our diary for that day. Sometimes we know it can take a little while to make a decision, but there’s no rush - we’ll let you know if anyone else enquiries about your date.

  • We’re based in Chester & mainly work around the North-West, Cheshire & North/Mid-Wales area but we always love working somewhere new so get in touch if you’re a little further afield!
